Our Mission
The mission of Sumiton Christian School is to provide a quality education taught by qualified and caring professionals with the goals of developing the whole child spiritually, academically, socially, and physically, and instilling in all our students obedience to God's Word, respect for those in authority and a high level of patriotism.
By providing daily instruction in God's Word through Bible classes, prayer, weekly chapel services for elementary and secondary students, and scripture memorization.
By employing certified teachers and administrators, and capable staff, who create an atmosphere conducive to learning where students feel safe, valued and where respect is fostered.
By creating opportunities for students to interact with each other and with their teachers through activities and programs at the school and within their communities through volunteering.
By promoting physical fitness, training in wellness nutrition and health at all age levels along with an extensive athletic program helping develop well-rounded athletes.
